Sometime in Dec 2005, we found a shed for rent in a little coastal town called Mapua. We decided this was the perfect site for our microbrewery. Construction of Golden Bear Brewing began on Feb 2006. 15 years ago, we opened our doors to the public on Labour weekend. This year, we celebrate that milestone on 22 Oct 2023.
